Turning Insights into Innovation

As a Design Manager, I combine global trend forecasting tools with on-the-ground research to guide fashion collections from concept to creation. My approach integrates insights from WGSN, Peclers Paris, and The Future Laboratory with inspiration gathered through travel, cultural exploration, and academic resources.
Research Tools & Platforms

To maintain a competitive edge in the luxury market, I utilize premier trend forecasting platforms, each offering unique perspectives:
-
Peclers Paris: For visionary storytelling, luxury colour palettes, and artistic inspiration.
-
The Future Laboratory: Delivering foresight into evolving consumer behaviours and cultural shifts.
-
WGSN: Used selectively for commercial insights and cross-referencing broader market trends.
Color & Fabric Interaction

A successful collection requires colours that translate beautifully from vision/pantone colours to fabric. I experiment with various techniques such as Digital Printing, Screen Printing, Block Printing, Tie-Dye & Hand-Dyeing and Heat Transfer & Sublimation, ensuring the highest quality results.
Using Pantone Colors & Custom Shades

I often start with Pantone colour standards to ensure precision in colour communication and expand by developing custom shades tailored to each collection’s theme.
-
Pantone Selection: Matching brand guidelines and collection themes.
-
Custom Shade Development: Experimenting with dye combinations to achieve bespoke colours.
-
Prototyping: Creating fabric swatches to visualise how custom colours translate to textiles.
